Why is it important for Blue that God was made man?

It is important for Blue that God was made man because the universe God created with ease, yet he had hands, eyes, and a brain. Because of Jesus, Blue could know that his little bacterial life relative to God has meaning. His thoughts matter more than the whole material world because God became a part of his creation to save him.
