Explain what was so funny about Steve’s encounter with King?

Steve loses his illusions about King after King is arrested. Although King once seemed tough and untouchable to Steve, a role model of sorts, Steve realizes that King is actually just a fool. King attempts to put on a tough-guy image even when he is in handcuffs. Really he just looks like a vulnerable thug at the mercy of the justice system.
