What does Dance represent?

Dance represents a unifying component of Claudia and Monday’s friendship. Although they come from different backgrounds and family lives, they can both bond over dancing together. Claudia’s parents are well-off enough to send her to dance classes, so Claudia teaches Monday the moves that she learns afterward. Later, Claudia views dancing as a way to reconnect with Monday after she disappears.
