In the novel Great expecatations, how does Miss Havisham and Magwitch haunt Pip and Estella?

I don't know if they haunt them. Certainly, their actions affect both Pip and Estella. It can be argued that Pip and Estella welcome the money and influence without really considering if there are strings attached.
