When the Convention is not in session, delegates take advantage of the sights and sounds of Philadelphia. They visit bookshops and stationary stores, examine models of mechanical devices at Carpenters' Hall, and look at the exhibits in Mr. Peale's Museum. Delegates also walk along the riverfront and visit the large market that is open.
