How does the narrator describe his writing desk in the novel, Memories of My Melancholy Whores?

The narrator describes the desk his grandfather carved from noble wood where he does all his writing. He keeps certain reference books, five sheets of paper, an inkwell and pen, horn and sand for drying the ink on his desk.
