The KKK rose up arguing that desegregation is unconstitutional and they re-formed the White Citizens Council, as less harsh version of the KKK. Black parents trying to get their children the best education possible, often are unemployed. In the Senate, the southern Senators passed laws and regulations designed to thwart various Supreme Court rulings on desegregation.
