Why does Hazel love living in Liver's shack in the novel, Made For Love?

Liver’s shack is located in the middle of the woods, far from any other human habitation. It contains only the bare necessities of life. Hazel loves it because it is the opposite of what she has grown accustomed to over her decades at the Gogol Hub.
