Why did Song take so much care in her first appearance to Gallimard when he finds him in France?

Song was always careful to fulfill Gallimard's every fantasy. Song knew he would be successful if, knowing Gallimard they way he did, he knew he would be unhappy in France and after such a long absence, the appearance of Song in a full kimono would only fulfill that fantasy further.
