What is Emerald Engagement Ring?

This emerald engagement ring that Luke gave Ani symbolizes the perfection she believes she has achieved in her life. The ring was Luke’s grandmother’s ring, a family heirloom. Ani felt that in order for her to participate in the documentary about a shooting at her high school she had to have that ring on her finger. It is a symbol that she had checked all the boxes in her life proving that she had her dream job as well as a finance who was loaded.
