Picture of Arthur and His Father

This picture is Arthur’s most prized possession. It shows a time when he and his father were happy together. Arthur’s mother made the frame for her son out of colored seashells and presented it to him as a gift. When Ani retaliates against Arthur when he lashes out at her after he is expelled, she steals this picture. Even though she is angry with Arthur she puts the picture in a place where it will be protected. During her interview with Mrs. Finnerman 14 years later Mrs. Finnerman asks for the photo back. Ani looks for it and realizes that Luke has destroyed it.
