Who is Young's father?

Young's father is only mentioned in passing a few times throughout the novel. In Part II, Young recalls going to an apartment building with his mother, where they discovered his father playing badminton with another woman. After this, Young's mother must have left his father, since she raised him as a single parent. In Part IV, Young mentions that his father bought him a mattress, and that soon after, "he'd been accused of evading taxes and embezzling funds through a dual contract and was currently on the run" (191).
