Describe symbolism in Love, Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

The Enchanted Hill is Stargirl's favorite place to meditate or "mind wash." It's a vacant hill next to a white, stucco building and a one-minute bike ride from Stargirl's house. The first time she meditated there, the sun shone through her closed eyelids giving her the feeling that she was basking in gold. The hill represents peace and tranquility.
