What is the setting of Lost in the Funhouse by John Barth?

Lost in the Funhouse is a short-story collection, in which, each of the stories has a separate setting. In the stories about Ambrose Mensch, the basic setting is the fictional town of East Dorset, Maryland. Ancient Greece is also a setting for the last two pieces of the book.
