Who is Polly Zinkoff from Loser and what is their importance?

Polly is Donald's little sister. She is just an infant. Over the course of the novel, Polly acts as her mother's alarm. She has just learned to say "bye-bye", which she does everytime her brother attempts to sneak out of the house.
