The novel is written in third-person from a series of limited perspectives that provide a reasonably omniscient view. The majority of the perspectives alternate between a few main characters, with Julian and Emma at the top of that list. The perspective sometimes changes to Kit, Dru, Christina, Diana, and others, all to give the reader a larger look at the action. This is necessary because the characters are often in different places working on different things at the same time.
