Each chapter opens with an image of a street sign, followed by the title of the chapter. The street signs are different at the opening of each chapter, and that specific street plays a role in that chapter. For example, the first chapter has a picture of a street sign that reads “Marston Street” prior to the title page. The author soon reveals that Jasmine and TJ live on Marston Street, just a few houses apart.
