What does Will feel like telling his dad in Chapter Five? Why does he keep it inside?

Will feels like telling his dad about his mom drinking and scratching her eczema. He also thinks about telling him all about how he feels after Shawn’s death. He keeps it inside though because everyone else in the elevator is watching.
