Who is the hermit in the poem, Lines Written a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey?

The Hermit is mentioned very briefly at the end of the first section of the poem. He is more of an abstract character thought up by the speaker as opposed to a concrete one they interact with. The speaker imagines the Hermit sitting alone in his cave, warmed by the light of his fire.
