Life of Pi What does Pi lose and gain when the ship sinks? Asked by bookragstutor on 20 Aug 10:23 Last updated by Jill W on 16 Jul 19:07
When the tsimtsum sinks Pi not only loses his family, but also his feeling of safety and security. He loses some of his innocence as well. What he gains is a stronger sense of himself, his abilities, and his faith.
