Importance of Purple Mushrooms

The purple mushrooms that grow underneath the tree at the sanctuary where Maura’s calf was buried are a representation of Jenna’s favorite place on the sanctuary. Although she didn’t know it at the time the purple mushroom grew not only because Maura’s stillborn calf was buried in that spot but also because Jenna had been buried in that same spot.
