What parts of the mystery are Susan Carol and Stevie still missing in Chapter 7? Who do they decide to talk with?

Neither Susan Carol nor Stevie know why or how the crooks plan on throwing the championship game. They decide they have to talk with Chip Graber, the star player who is being blackmailed. They find out the hotel where the MSU team is staying. Stevie and Susan Carol part for dinner and plan to meet the next morning at 8:30 a.m. to go to the MSU hotel.
