What does Ice Cream Shop represent?

The ice cream shop is a symbol of limited possibilities. When Jiyoung starts looking for jobs she can work while raising her baby, she comes across the ice cream shop. Like the sweet dessert itself, the possibility of working there is appealing at first, but ultimately unfulfilling and empty.
