Who is Mary Jean Dobbins from the novel, Island of the Sequined Love Nun?

Mary Jean Dobbins is the owner of Mary Jean Cosmetics. She washes her hands of Tuck after he crashes her jet, but still maintains her faith in him. When Tuck is at a loss as to how to save the people on the island of Alualu, he calls Mary Jean who happily lends a hand. Mary Jean has a deep belief in God, but also believes that anyone can make themselves a better person by strength of will.
