Who is Mrs. Leonard Cottrell from Invisible Monsters and what is their importance?

Mrs. Leonard Cottrell is Evie Cottrell's mother. Mrs. Cottrell is from Texas where her family has made their fortune in oil. When Brandy, Shannon, and Manus return to Los Angeles they decide to hit a few more houses before quitting. The house Brandy chooses that day turns out to belong to Evie. Evie's mother is acting as the real estate broker, showing them around the house. Mrs. Cottrell explains that the house is for sale because Evie is finally getting married. Mrs. Cottrell further explains that the marriage is an arranged marriage because it is so difficult to find a man to overlook the fact that Evie was once a man.
