mood could be... cold, lonley, barren, i would'nt say hopeless because he was an outgoing courageous person. But if you think so it's your opinion. The purpose of mood is to describe the way the story is written as in overall. And there are certain words you use to describe Mood, Tone and theme. Look up the definition of all there and it will help you understand the story better or get you a better grade on a lit paper. And i know my grammer sucks right now im doing a report on it right now and gotta hurry. ha
