How does Layla describe Noor’s arrest?

Layla says that Noor is the girl who wore the American flag hijab, and she says that she had said that “rebellion is as American as apple pie” (172). Layla says that she and Ayesha hear Noor screaming, and see her being dragged down the path by two of the Director’s personal security guards. Two women run to her aid, but the guards beat them, and the Director silences everyone by firing a shot in the air.
