Who is Bertrand Russell from Johnson's, Intellectuals?

Bertrand Russell was born in 1872 in England. He was an orphan by the age of four and was raised by his grandfather. He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was a Fellow at Trinity and taught and lectured at a variety of American universities. He left his first wife Alys in 1911. After a series of affairs he married Dora Black and had to children, John and Kate. They divorced in 1849. His fourth wife was Edith Finch who remained with him until the end of his life. He wrote on any subject and gave advice whether he was knowledgeable about it or not. He was a pacifist and established the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation. He died in 1970.
