Who is Keir Sarafian from Inexcusable and what is their importance?

Keir is the narrator, main character, and protagonist in the novel, Inexcusable. He is a senior in high school, and he is making plans to leave for Norfolk, where he received a football scholarship. Keir lives with his father and idolizes his two sisters.

Over the course of the novel, Keir uncovers truths about himself, as he reveals them to the readers. He sees himself as a softie... someone with a good heart, and yet he's adopted the nickname Killer. Keir believes he has not raped Gigi for the entirety of his story, until the very last moment when he sees the truth.
