Who is Nakhmen?

Nakhmen is another member of the circle of writers at which Asch presents the first draft of "... Vengeance." He is portrayed as being even more sharp-tongued and judgmental than Peretz, and also as being something of a sexist. Later in Indecent, however, he is portrayed as having changed his mind about "...Vengeance," working towards having it produced again in Europe following its failure in New York.
