What takes place in the play within the play in Beginning of Act Three?

Beginning of Act Three starts onstage with Sarah speaking about how Manke is opening her own whorehouse with Rifkele as the prostitute. Sarah decides she will use her diamond earrings to buy Rifkele back. Sarah also thinks about the price of marrying their daughter off.
