What is the role of Benjamin Baillie?

Benjamin Bailie, from the 4th Precinct is in the audience and watches the play unfold. In Officer Bailie Enters the Wings, the show is coming to an end, and Officer Bailie asks Asch to have the cast meet him backstage after the show ends; he has a warrant for the arrest of the cast and arrests the cast at the conclusion of the performance.
