The most important scene in both Indecent and "...Vengeance" contains what is arguably the most important symbol in both narratives - the rain, which represents purity, cleansing, and nature. This metaphoric value becomes most apparent at the end of Indecent, where "The Rain Scene" is shown in its entirety for the first time. There, the language of intimacy, freedom, and love in the dialogue of the two characters is closely tied to the image of rain washing away constriction, fear, and uncertainty. In other words, rain becomes the main symbol and/or metaphoric manifestation of the theme that links both narratives - the nature and importance of freedom.
