How does the playwright early on show why the play is titled Indecent?

Soon after Lemml introduces the characters, two women are shown in an embrace. Along with the use of klezmer music and Yiddish, it makes this embrace even more shocking, as the characters are Jewish and possibly religious. Homosexual acts would most likely not be considered appropriate in a culture such as this.
