The Major from Incident at Vichy is a disabled German soldier who is in charge of the interogations at Vichy. He seems disgruntled about having to do the job, as if it were beneath his rank. He views people and human beings in general as insignficant. Leduc tries to convince the Major to let he and the boy escape, but Major says nothing matters and won't let them go.
