Who is Feeney from Immortal in Death and what is their importance?

Feeney is Eve's computer crimes expert. He is always somewhat down and seems to look at the bad side of things, but whatever Eve wants him to do, he is willing to try. Feeney also admires and respects Roarke, and thinks that Eve and Roarke are well matched because neither of them can leave a case alone until it is solved. He likes to go home to his wife, he enjoys his food, especially pastries, and has learned to take life in stride.
