Who is Angus from If the Witness Lied and what is their importance?

Angus is the docudrama director. He wants to film the Fountain children as they go through therapy and talk about the loss of both of their parents. He wants to film Tris at his day care and portray the three-year-old child as the reason for both of his parents dying. In an attempt to extort information from Smithy, Angus picks Smithy up from the train station while he has a recorder in his back seat. The film crew follows behind them in a van filming.
