What do both Miah and his father say about the afterlife?

The topic of the afterlife comes up when Miah asks his father what he thought happened to people after they died. Both Miah and his father hope that life after death is bigger and better. When Miah admits to his father that sometimes he hears his grandmother whisper to him that she is good where she is now, his father does not find that to be crazy at all.
