Mr. Hayward is the lawyer that the Rivers hire to defend Fonny. Mr. Hayward is 37 and white. The Rivers cannot decide if he can be trusted or not. He seems kind and comforts Tish and Sharon when they go to see him, but he is always asking for more money.
