What does Fonny tell Tish about his art in Section Two?

Fonny tells Tish that he loves her and wants to marry her, but he also warns her about his art. He tells her that his art is his life and sometimes he will get really wrapped up in to the point that it might seem that he is ignoring her, but he wants her to know that he is never ignoring her.
