Describe symbolism in Identity, Youth, and Crisis by Erik H. Erikson

Erikson does not use symbolism in the text. He does, however, note that women tend to be more focused on 'inner space' or on the symbolic aspects of the inside of the body, the procreative spaces, and maintaining close families and communities, emotional intimacy, and so on.
