What does the rhinestone tiara represent in the novel, I Was Anastasia?

This rhinestone tiara is a symbol of fraud. Jack believes that Anna really is Anastasia and buys her a rhinestone tiara to wear if and when the courts recognize her as Anastasia. However, like the tiara, Anna is a fraud.
