What does the house in Tecopa represent to Clare in the novel, I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness?

Claire's family's Tecopa house symbolizes fragility. Throughout her life, Claire believes that the Tecopa house is the only place she has ever felt comfortable and safe. However, when she and Lise return to the house, they find that only a chimney remains, buried amidst rubble and trash. Though the house once belonged to the family, it proves incapable of containing their spirits, their experiences, and their love for one another.
