Who is The GTOs from I'm with the Band and what is their importance?

The GTOs, or Girls Together Only or Outrageously or anything with an "O" are a group of five girls; Miss Pamela, Miss Sparky, Miss Lucy, Miss Christine, and Miss Sandra. Miss Mercy and Miss Cynderella are later additions to the group. All of the girls are groupies and regulars on the Sunset Strip. Each girl also becomes sexually involved with various rock artists.
