Who is Brawne Lamia from Hyperion and what is their importance?

Brawne Lamia is the only female participant on the pilgrimage. She is employed as a detective for AllWeb Investigations and falls in love with her client, Johnny. Her relationship with Johnny leads her to Hyperion in search of Johnny's true meaning as the recreation of John Keats. In the end, we learn that she is carrying Johnny's child.
