Police Chief Rigorito and his men tortured Brando in a variety of ways to get him to reveal everything he knew about the whereabouts of the Witch's wealth. They applied electrical current to various parts of his body and they also hit him over and over in the small of his back and elsewhere with a thick wooden plank.
