Chabela marched Norma over to the home of the Witch when she found out that Norma was pregnant. She asked the Witch to provide the same tincture to Norma that she has provided to countless women before, including Chabela. The Witch was very reluctant until Chabela told her that Luismi knew about the child, knew that it was not his, and gave his blessing for Norma to attempt to bring about a miscarriage.
