What is "Unitopia" in the novel, Hummingbird Salamander?

Unitopia was Silvina's attempt to create a truly sustainable environmental community, and make her mark on the world. The idea was inspired by a naturalist, and Silvina had been using funds from various projects in an attempt to create this so-called heavenly planetarium. Unitopia was buried underground, accessible only through unit 7 of the storage facility. When Jane finally happened upon it at the end of the novel, she noted it was a sort of functioning ark. Silvina had died before its completion- her dream had not quite panned out.
