How does Obama demonstrate his loyalty to Biden in the novel, Hope Never Dies: An Obama Biden Mystery?

Over the course of the novel, Barack demonstrates his loyalty to Joe several times, his actions eventually wearing away Joe's resentment of him and proving that Barack really does see Joe as the friend and ally that Joe once believed him to be and, at the novel's conclusion, again believes him to be.He supports Joe's investigation and becomes a part of it as well.
