Why does Karamat Lone say this is "his fault" that Eamonn is dating Aneeka?

Karamat says he never wanted his son to know what it was like to have doors closed in his face and so he gave Eamonn everything. He says this made Eamonn entitled so he can not see how Aneeka is using him.
